With a love for students and a passion for learning, Anne Davis continues to strive to provide exactly what each child needs every day. Whether it is awarding a SUPER SAINTS sticker to the young one who held open the door for a visiting parent or listening to a Kindergarten student read his latest addition to his “daily journal”.
Mrs. Davis is always encouraging an environment for learning with her faculty. Supporting continuing education speakers in order to increase their teaching knowledge is just an example of how Anne supports others and builds them up to reach their full potential.
Surrounded by loving educators within her family impacted Anne throughout her young life and directed her towards a career path in education. Mrs. Davis received her B.S. in Elementary Education from Samford University and her Master of Education from the University of South Alabama. She has loved teaching in many areas of Alabama, with an ardent focus on educating and enhancing the growth of the complete person in Kindergarten through 5th grade. For 39 years, Anne has taught in both the public and private setting. During her tenure at St. Paul’s, Mrs. Davis has taught 3rd grade AIP, Reading Support for grades 1st and 2nd and has served as Lower School Director since 2003. Anne’s wealth of knowledge and experience is a gift our faculty, staff, students and parents appreciate each time we see her smile.
