Library Grades 3-5

The library for grades 3, 4, and 5 is located in the Lower School Media Center on the Dogwood Campus. Each class uses their scheduled library time for book checkout and story time, as well as library skills instruction. Morning hours are flexible so that students may return books, choose new books, or take Accelerated Reader quizzes. Students may check out two books and keep them for a week and have access to two Accelerated Reader Stores each year. The goal of this library is to provide an attractive media center which welcomes and encourages students to enjoy a wide variety of age appropriate fiction and nonfiction books.
