Application Process

St. Paul's accepts students into grades Pre-K - 12. Pre-Kindergarten (4 yr. old) students do not take an admissions evaluation; however, their academic and developmental progress is closely monitored throughout the year. Admission into grades K-12 is based on academic records, personal interviews, admissions tests, and willingness to participate in the life of St. Paul's.

In addition to our standard program, St. Paul's offers the Alternative Instruction Program (AIP) for documented learning disabled/ADD students. View our AIP Brochure for more information.

Application Procedure

  • Parents should submit a completed and signed application form or an online application. There is no application fee.

  • The applicant must satisfactorily complete the St. Paul's entrance examination (or readiness evaluation for kindergarten), or be approved by previous test scores/grades.

  • For applicants who are applying for 1st grade and above, a transcript of previous school history, standardized testing, and attendance is required.

  • A campus visit is recommended for those applying.

  • A satisfactory health record in accordance with Mobile County laws must be on file before a student can enter classes.

  • The school will offer a written enrollment contract to qualified candidates for whom space exists.

  • Enrollment is considered complete when the signed contract and tuition deposit are returned to the school. Enrollment is understood to be for the full school year, and a full year's tuition must be paid. In order to prevent a hardship for the family should a student need to be withdrawn, the school offers tuition insurance on an optional basis. Information about this is included in the enrollment contract.

St. Paul's admits students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, financial aid or other school administered programs.
